PDF Settings Overview
The PDF Settings interface lets you upload pdf files and define/view settings and revisions for the file.
All Sheets
Here we can see all sheets in that PDF setting. We can scroll up and down and select the sheet.
We also can filter the sheet by clicking the drop-down arrow.
Sheet selection
It shows what sheet number is selected. Directional arrows allow you to jump to the next page or previous page. To display a certain sheet type the sheet number in the field. (For example: type 10 to jump to sheet 10)
Change PDF Sheet Order
To change the order of the PDF sheets, click on a sheet and drag it to a different position:
Zoom
The Zoom option lets you type in a zoom level to display or use the zoom options which display when you click the arrow icon:
The mouse wheel can also be used to zoom:
- Use the mouse wheel + CTRL button to zoom in or out.
- Use the mouse wheel + SHFT button scroll left or right.
Views
You can switch from the PDF view to the Map views by pressing the icons in the top right of the viewing area.
The map view includes the defined project boundary for easy location.
Sheet meta data information
The sheet meta data information fields are located to the right of the viewing area.
You need to fill the sheet information before publishing the document.
Sheet number | Sheet number for the pdf file. |
Discipline | For Example: Piping, Civil, Road etc. |
Type | Sheet type such as sheet, plan etc. |
Sheet Name | Sheet description follows the pdf file. |
Revision and revision date | Revision number and date for a sheet revision. |
Revision description | Description for the revision. |
Tags | Any tag number related to the sheet. |
Alignment name | Other information useful for searching and alignment. |
Save, Publish and Delete
After the sheet information has been entered, Save and publish the sheet, or only Save without publishing.
To make changes to sheet information, you must Unpublish the sheet first. Once the changes have been made you can re-Publish the sheet.
